I am a studio artist and workshop leader in Lincoln, Nebraska. A lifelong Nebraskan, I grew up on a farm in Wahoo, a natural born artist, with a love of endless skies, changing seasons, growing crops and earthy colors and materials.

My undergraduate degree is from Creighton University in Omaha and my graduate degree was obtained at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I previously served as the executive director of the Lincoln Arts Council.

I have exhibited and taught my HotWaxCoolArt workshops across the U.S. As an artist-in-residence for the Nebraska Arts Council for a decade, I have worked with all ages of students. Recently, I engaged guests and created work as the first artist-in-residence at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel.
